Trusting Your Intuition: Unlocking Your Inner Power

If someone had told me two years ago that I would stop drinking red wine and write a book, I wouldn't have believed them. But going without alcohol changed my life, and when I started listening to my gut feeling, I was amazed by what I discovered.

Embracing an Alcohol-Free Life

I began my alcohol-free journey in January 2022. The idea of giving up drinking had crossed my mind many times during my thirties. I felt like something was guiding me to stop, but it took time for me to actually say that I was ready to see what life without alcohol was like. After a few failed attempts and a lot of emotional breakdowns, I finally quit for good in November 2022.

The Voice Within

One day, while I was taking a walk after deciding to quit drinking, I heard myself say, "If you quit drinking, new opportunities will come." I don't know if it was God, my inner voice, or the universe speaking, but it was my own voice, and it changed everything.

Discovering New Avenues

Every year, I write down what I want to manifest in my life. In 2023, I wrote that I wanted to find my true purpose and do something that feeds my soul. During one of my walks, the idea of writing a children's book popped into my head. I worked hard and completed the book, which was published this May. I also decided to start coaching and help others who want to quit drinking and improve their mindset. And then I thought about writing another book about habits and behaviors, which I'm currently working on.

Liberating Energy and Dreaming Big

Looking back, I realize that when I drank alcohol, a lot of my energy went into recovering from hangovers, worrying about drinking enough water to avoid them, and feeling disappointed when I didn't achieve what I wanted. Alcohol brought me down, but once I let go of it, I had more time and energy to dream big.

Navigating the Path Ahead

I don't know what the future holds for me, but I'm determined to help others and follow the voice inside me that tells me to keep pursuing my purpose. I feel fulfilled in my life, and I owe that to giving up alcohol and trusting myself. What's truly amazing is that I had no idea I had creativity and writing skills. I never thought I could have an impact on people. By removing a toxic substance from my life, I started pursuing dreams I didn't even know were possible. I'm excited to see what other opportunities will come my way!

Strategies for Strengthening Intuition

If you want to improve your intuition, here are some simple strategies I use:

1. Meditation

Taking time to meditate allows me to quiet my mind and listen to the subtle whispers of intuition. Find a quiet place, sit comfortably, and focus on your breath. Let your thoughts pass by without judgment and be open to any intuitive insights that may arise.

2. Walking in Nature

Spending time in nature has a way of clearing the clutter in my mind and connecting me with my inner wisdom. Take a leisurely walk in a park, forest, or any natural setting that resonates with you. Pay attention to the sights, sounds, and sensations around you, and be open to any intuitive guidance that may come.

3. Journaling

Writing in a journal allows me to explore my thoughts and emotions more deeply. It creates a space for self-reflection and can reveal hidden insights
