Watermelon Punch Recipe
Ingredients
1 oblong seedless watermelon (about 10 pounds)
1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade, thawed
2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
Instructions
Cut the top of the watermelon off about 1/6 of the way down. Cut the bottom end enough to make sure the watermelon will stand on its own. Scoop out the flesh.
Place watermelon flesh in an electric blender; process until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer; discard solids.
Return the watermelon to the blender. Add lemonade concentrate and pineapple juice and blend well. You can add simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter punch. Transfer to the watermelon bowl.
Serve chilled over crushed ice. Stir the watermelon punch before you enjoy it to make sure all ingredients are combined.

Tips for Making Watermelon Punch
It's important to wash the whole watermelon before you use it to wash off any germs.
This punch is best consumed on the day you make it.
Blackberry Hibiscus Spritzer with Tarragon
Ingredients
Tarragon Simple Syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
4 large sprigs of fresh tarragon
Instructions
Prepare the simple syrup by combining sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat, stir in the fresh tarragon, cover, and let steep for 20 minutes. After steeping, strain and press the syrup to remove the tarragon. Chill until at least room temperature.
For one glass
Muddle 6 blackberries with the leaves of a sprig of fresh tarragon and 1/8 tsp lime juice.
Pour 2 ounces of hibiscus tea and 1 ounce of tarragon simple syrup over a glass filled with cocktail ice cups.
Strain and press the muddled blackberries through a fine mesh sieve over the hibiscus tea.
Top with 2-3 ounces sparkling water, to taste. Stir to combine and garnish with fresh tarragon, if desired.
For six glasses
Combine hibiscus tea and simple syrup in a pitcher. Muddle the blackberries with tarragon and lime juice, strain them, and press it into the pitcher. Stir to combine. Serve 4 ounces of this mixture with 2-3 ounces of sparkling water over ice for each drink.

Canned cream of coconut is found in the ethnic food aisles.
Ginger Beer Mocktail
Ingredients
For an Individual Drink:
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1/3 cup orange juice, chilled
4 tablespoons simple syrup, chilled
1/4 teaspoon Angostura orange bitters
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
1 cup Cock 'n Bull ginger beer, chilled
For the Rim & Garnish
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 lime wheel per glass for garnish
Instructions
To rim the glasses, pour water into a small bowl. In another bowl, mix white sugar and cinnamon. Dip the rim of the glass in water, then twirl it in the sugar mixture.
To build the drink in the glass, pour all ingredients except the carbonated drink carefully. Stir then top off with ginger beer. Gently stir.
To make the drink in a pitcher, stir all ingredients except the carbonated drink together and refrigerate until ready to serve. To assemble, fill each glass half full with the juice mixture, then top it off with ginger beer and gently stir.
Garnish each glass with a lime wheel and enjoy immediately.
Notes
To make this for 8 people, use 1.5 cups maple syrup, 2.5 cups orange juice, 2 cups simple syrup, 2 teaspoons Angostura orange bitters, 1.5 cups lime juice, and 8 cups ginger beer.
To make simple syrup, add 1 cup each of granulated sugar and water to a small pot (double this amount if making for 8 people). Stir over medium-high heat until sugar dissolves. Pour into a container and cool in the freezer for 10 minutes before using. Any leftovers can be stored in a mason jar in the fridge for up to one week.
To make this child-friendly, add more orange juice to reduce spiciness.
I love helping people find their deeper purpose. When I decided to go alcohol-free, change my habits, and create new routines, I had to work a lot on my mindset. This process helped me begin the journey to help others to unlock their full potential. I believe seeking support and building connections can provide the encouragement, guidance, and empathy needed to navigate and sustain personal change.
